Championship 2024 - Flat Race
The second day of the Grand Championship started. Today the Flat Race will be held. Lilia woke up early, the sun just peeked over the horizon. With a silent yawn she rubbed her cheek against the soft fur of her half. Majali lifted her head to greet the young ewe, nibbling at some unruly strands of hair. 'Good Morning.', Lilia mouthed without a word, then turned to look at her Cousin Baran, who was still sleeping soundly beside his own half Tähine. They stayed up late yesterday evening, talking to their human friend, only returning to the tent to sleep in the early morning hours and they really could use some more hours of sleep. Careful Lilia and Majali stood up, gathered their things and left the tent, as quiet as they could, Baran only stirring a little bit, still sleeping. After they closed up the cloth flap of the tent, Lilia stretched her back and arms, feeling the warm morning sun on her fur. Other Sagabehra of their tribe were already up and moving through the camp, preparing

The Grand Championship. A big event that was normally held in Merilian City, known as the main hub of Rukaan trainers and traders all over the country and beyond. But this year it has been temporarily transferred to Timbervale, a small town surrounded by orchards and beautiful forests. Lilia and her new family, a group of sagabehra, travelled from far away to attend this years big event. To even attempt to enter the Grand Championship, you had to win 1st to 3rd place in previous held shows. While she herself and her own Rukaan Majali only managed to qualify for two classes, her cousin Baran managed to qualify for nearly every class that would be held. And now the time had come to try to win at the Grand Championship. The group of Sagabehra had travelled for a while now, some riding on their halfs backs, some walking besides them. Lilia was walking besides her Cousin Baran, talking his ear off, their halfs on each of their sides. Lilia tended to talk too much when nervous or anxious
So Loki did not only mess with Rukaan by transforming them into other animals or mythical creatures, he had also turned the heir of the Reindeer King into a Rukaan. The Prince, once a proud Reindeer himself, was now running around in the fields, bothering the hinds of different herds, his hormones going rampant. And with that much young females around this spring, the heir of the Reindeer King could not be bothered to turn back. Not only that. Somehow the Prince was now thinking he as the best and strongest stag around, challening other males to battles, trying to overtake their herds. He caused all kind of problems with his rampages. Idun had had enough. Multiple female Rukaan had been searching for shelter and protection in her herd now, just as long as the Reindeer Prince was out there. And with Spring only starting, there was not enough food to feed them all. Not her herd and the newly visitors. This had to stop. The Reindeer Prince had to return to his father, so they could get

Show: Majali - Swamp Skijoring
Majali had woken up early this morning, waiting for her half to come and prepare her for the upcoming show. Their tribe had travelled here to partace in different competitions and Lilia, her handler, was finally old enough to partake herself. The doe had already noticed how anxious the young ewe was. Maybe she would just hide until the competitions were over, so she didn't have to compete at all. Rustling and soft steps made Majali lift her head. There she was. Lilia amde her way through the other Rukaan, her heart leading her to her half. She wore her lucky Poncho, little leaves and bugs hand embroidered on the edges. Witz her lucky and favourite piece of clothing there was no way they could loose. "You're nervous.", Majali wispered, pressing her soft muzzle against the cheek of Lilia. "Of course I am nervous.", the girl replied, rubbing her face against the Rukaans cheek, taking a deep breath. "It's the first time I compete in a show. What if I am not good enough? The others will
It was finally over. With Ratatoskr agreeing to their arrangement the Winter Doe and Stag of the West could finally resume their duties. But just as they turned to leave, the squirrel came back, chittering above their heads. "Give me the Strawberries now.", he demanded, his tail flicking. There was mischief in his beady little black eyes. "What?", Eir replied. "How the hell am I supposed to get the strawberries now? The Winter is still in Midgard and everything is dead and frozen, thanks to your antics!" "No Strawberries, no help.", the squirrel huffed, turning to leave. Eir puffed up her chest, stomping on the ground, ready to fight that scruffy rat. "Oh you little - " Rustling in the brushes around them caught their attention. A big black stag with gemstone antlers made his way to them, coming to a stop just in front of them. He looked up at Ratatoskr, who seemed to recognize the stranger. "You will fulfill your end of the bargain, Squirrel, or the All-Father will hear of your
